The holidays are the busiest time for family gatherings, open houses, ugly sweater parties, Christmas parties, birthdays and more! Add a little bit of thought to each gathering you go to this season by bringing a simple, but delicious cheese-ball! This cheese-ball is perfect for Christmas with its white, green and red! Your guests will be wowed at how tasty this simple appetizer is!
You will need one block of cream cheese, two stalks of green onion, thinly sliced beef, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce and chopped pecans for coating (optional). Let your cream cheese sit out for a good 5-10 minutes to soften up, it will be easier to work with. Begin to slice your beef. I used half of the package for one cheese ball. Cut into very little squares. Grab your stalks of green onion and chop fine. Add cream cheese, beef and green onions to a bowl, add a dash of hot sauce and Worcestershire. Mix all together with your hands, smooshing all ingredients throughout. Form together and roll between your hands to create a ball. If you’re going to use pecans for coating (which I recommend because it’s super yummy), begin to chop them into fine pieces and simply smash them against your cheese-ball. Refrigerate until serving and any extra. Serve with crackers!

Pumpkin Poke Cake
We were headed to a get together with friends, and we were each asked to bring a side dish or dessert. I had been wanting to give a certain dessert a try, so I did just that! Have you tried better than sex cake? It is sinfully delicious! I had that dessert in mind, but with a Fall twist! That’s how I came up with this tasty pumpkin poke cake!
Here’s what you’re going to need:
1 box of yellow cake mix (and all ingredients listed on box)
1 can of puree pumpkin
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup caramel ice cream topping (not pictured)
toffee tidbits
1 container of whipped cream
chocolate syrup (optional)
Begin by preparing the yellow cake mix according to the directions on the box. I used a 13×9 inch pan for this cake. Add in your pumpkin puree, nutmeg and pumpkin spice and mix well. Pour evenly into your cake pan. Bake according to your box instructions. I actually ended up cooking mine an additional 10 minutes more than the box suggested because of the thickness with the pumpkin mixed in. Once fully cooked, remove from the oven and begin to poke holes throughout the entire cake using something small. I used a cake pop stick. In a small saucepan, mix your sweetened condensed milk and caramel together and bring to a thickened consistency. Once thick, remove from heat and pour over the entire cake, allowing it to fill up the holes you made in the cake. Put in the fridge and allow to cool from about 1 hour. Remove and add smooth whipped cream, toffee bits and chocolate drizzle if desired.
I was pretty pleased with how this cake turned out! It’s perfect for Fall and especially if you love pumpkin! Our friends raved over it, and I’m sure yours will too!!

Blueberry Stuffed French Toast Recipe + David Bromstad Designs + A Giveaway!!
Are you a coffee drinker? Let me tell you, it is my mode of survival! Without it, I’m no fun, ha! And with it this is how I feel…. “Given enough coffee I could rule the world”! Can you relate? I do, however, use creamer in my coffee, always have. So you can imagine I was pretty stoked when design star David Bromstad partnered with Coffee-mate and Target, making a splash with the limited edition bottles inspired my coffee and Coffee-mate. The new David Bromstad designed bottles (French Vanilla and Hazelnut flavors) will be available at Target stores nationwide! Why am I excited about that you say? Well, one I LOVE David Bromstad, have you seen the designs that man comes up with? Brilliant! And two, I’m a coffee freak (not to mention I’m Target obsessed), so this was basically a win-win for me!
It’s a lot of fun when you can become inspired by a product you use to think outside the box! Not only do I love coffee creamer in my coffee (French Vanilla is my favorite!), but I like to explore recipes with it too! I recently made an absolutely delicious french toast recipe using the French Vanilla creamer. My kids and husband just raved over it, so I will certainly be making it again!
Here’s the recipe:
Coffee-mate coffee creamer, flavor desired
3 large eggs
vanilla
cinnamon
sliced bread
butter
syrup
blueberries (optional)
Start by cracking your eggs into a bowl. Mix in your coffee creamer, pouring just enough to thicken the mixture (about 2-4 tablespoons). Add a teaspoon of vanilla and a dash of cinnamon. Grab a fork and mix well. Heat your frying pan to medium heat and melt a little butter, dip your slice of bread covering both sides into the egg mixture and place it onto the heated pan. Cook until slightly brown on each side. This mixture was enough to make 7 slices of french toast. Grab your blueberries, rinse and place them in a small bowl. Grab a fork and begin to mash them up, add a little bit of water to create a syrup-y mixture. Place the blueberry syrup between two pieces of french toast. You can add a small amount of syrup on top or a little powered sugar. This breakfast is full of flavor and simple to make!
Can you believe a little coffee creamer inspired all that? For more inspired fun, snap a photo of the newly designed bottles and share it on Facebook with the hashtag #CMInspiresSweepsEntry for a chance to win a year’s worth of Coffee-mate, $500 Target GiftCards, and a signed print from David Bromstad!

This week’s pins were Halloween related! We will be hosting a Kids Costume Party here in the next couple weeks, so I’m in full swing of preparing for it, fun!!
1. Isn’t this mummy wrapped pumpkin darling? This is the perfect, safe and non-messy craft for kids to create adorable, personalized pumpkins! Create the perfect wrap using gauze and add googly eyes that you can purchase from the dollar store!
2. Create gorgeous, glowing pumpkins in a few easy steps! Instead of the traditional carving technique, drill holes in a design and place mini white string lights on the inside! These are sure to brighten up your porch perfectly for Fall, and you can enjoy them long after Halloween is over!
3. Puppy chow may just be one of my favorite guilty pleasures! I have been coming across sooo many new recipes this season! This particular recipe yields the perfect Halloween mixture! If you’re looking for a satisfying snack for your Halloween party, look no longer, this is it! Your guests will be begging for more 😉
4. This spook-tacular Halloween mantle is charmingly frightful! I love the mix of natural elements and bold accents! The black displays really make this mantle pop, don’t you think?!

{ Peach, Caramel Frozen Yogurt }
Do you have a sweet tooth? I do! And I’m loving this delicious frozen yogurt recipe I came up with inplace of ice cream. It’s sooo yummy!
With a few simple ingredients and a few hours of freezing time, you will have a homemade frozen yogurt. So lets get to it… Start with a 32 ounce container of vanilla Greek yogurt. I only used about 28 ounces or so (I’ll explain later). Pour yogurt into a small mixing bowl and add a half cup of heavy whipping cream and mix well. For taste, I added a little dash of cinnamon and vanilla. Wash and dice a ripe peach and add to mixture. Next add crumbled graham crackers and carmel to your liking. Mix everything well and transfer back to the original container. This is why I only used 28 ounces as mentioned earlier so I would have room for the additional ingredients 🙂 Freeze for a minimum of 4 hours before serving.
I topped mine with a little extra graham crackers and caramel for extra goodness!
Enjoy!!
