Easter is just two weeks away! In celebration, I made a darling little Peter Cottontail banner! What get’s you excited about projects you make? One of my favorite things, is creating something cute for very little money! This banner is one of those projects! I made this cutie for about $3! Join me as I share how π
One of my favorite purchases I’ve made thus far in crafting is my silhouette machine. It’s amazing! I simply went to the online silhouette store, purchase the bunny design for $0.99, altered the size until I was happy with it and added some of the cute scrapbook paper from Target Dollar Spot. I had 10 done within just a couple minutes! Next, I typically use jute as my banner base. It matches all my neutral decor and I have tons of it! I work on my kitchen island, so I tape the jute into place and begin gluing the bunnies down using a heated glue gun. To finish it off, I added a single white pom pom to the tail of bunny and glued into place.
For such a simple project, a little time and a super small price tag, I was loving how it turned out! Thanks for stopping by and checking my Easter banner out! Have a great day π

Bringing Spring to the Door!
The minute we had warmer temps I had the urge to bust out all the pretty stuff for Spring! I should of known that was short lived, we’ve been getting more snow all weekend! Anyways, I wanted to bring Spring to my front door, even if the weather outside wasn’t so inviting yet!
I headed to Jo Ann’s where I was really pleased to find an adorable flat-backed, faux watering can just perfect for the front door! I always have a nice time browsing their selection of flowers because there’s truly such a variety, I love it! This time I opted for pretty white tulips and a bright pink flowery, long- stemmed bloom. Once I was home, I took a piece of black felt that I already had, traced the shape of the watering can with white colored pencil and cut it out. Next, using a hot glue gun, glue it to the back of the watering can leaving the very top unglued for now. This will act as a protector from scratching your door in the event of it moving! If necessary, use a wire cutter to trim the end of the flowers to fit the length desired. Play around with their placement until you’re happy with how it looks! I took the adorable burlap and polka dot ribbon, cut it to length and super glued it to the back of the can, and then glued the felt that you had previously left unglued at the top, and glued it into place. And voila, hang on your door and relish all the cuteness, even if the weather isn’t permitting just yet π
