So without further ado, let’s get to it…
1. This centerpiece is absolutely stunning! It’s the perfect Fall arrangement, including hydrangeas and white pumpkins! The colors are breathtaking and delicate for this time of year! Yvonne from StoneGable is sharing her stunning Fall Home Tour, you won’t want to miss it!!
2. White, white, white! The French Country style of this bedroom just screams perfection! I adore everything about this bedroom! I could certainly see myself cuddled up here in the evenings with a nice cup of hot cocoa, catching up on my magazines or reading a book!
3. More French Country glam! I love the mix of rod iron, mercury glass, candles and fresh flowers! Such a simple setup, yet so gorgeous!! You don’t have to invest in costly centerpieces for parties or get-together’s, just grab a variety of small candle holders and illuminate with a tea light, add fresh flowers to a ornate vase and add a pretty tray if you have it! Sometimes it’s the simple things that can make a big impact π
4. Ahh, I just adore white pumpkins! So many gorgeous tones this year, these appear to have a hint of blue in them! We have visited a few pumpkin patches, and intend on a few more this season! I love checking out each places variety of pumpkins! Have you been to the pumpkin patch yet?

Apple Crisp
Let me start off by saying this recipe is NOT diet friendly, but it is sooo tasty! A few weeks back we enjoyed a relaxing dinner at my in-laws. My mother-in-law baked a deeelicious apple crisp for dessert and I was quickly asking for the recipe! Lucky for you, I’m sharing it today (wink!)Β
If you haven’t been already, plan a fun afternoon to go apple picking with the family to gather some of the delicious fruit for this recipe! For this recipe I used gala apples, but any kind will do!
Begin by slicing your apples, I use an apple slicer which makes this part a breeze! If you prefer, peel your apples too, I leave mine on π Add the apples to a mixing bowl and sprinkle with the lemon juice to keep them from browning. Next add sugar, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon and apples, mix well. Pour this mixture into a buttered 9×13 casserole dish. In a separate mixing bowl mix together the melted butter, flour, white & brown sugar and oatmeal, mix thoroughly and add to the apple mixture as the topping. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Let cool at least 10 minutes before serving. To really top this delicious dessert off, add a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream, mmm mmm!
Do you have a favorite family apple crisp recipe? If so, I’d love to hear it so please share π
