What I Wore…
Here’s an outfit I put together stepping out of my comfort zone of skinny jeans, and bright ones at that! The neutral tones tie it together between the belt, boot socks and boots, colors in the sweater and rose gold accessories.
{ Dressing Up Your Wreath! }
I’m going through another phase of obsessing over burlap bubble wreaths! You can view my previous tutorial on how to make the wreath, here. These wreaths are so beautiful and don’t need much to make them stand out, but if you love pretty things like I do, then it’s fun to accessorize your wreath with the seasons!
My latest accessories were a charming, ivory feather and glitter covered “twigs”. I added these to alligator clips using hot glue. This way it’s easy for me to take them on and off as I want! I also made a stunning peacock clip. These feathers are just incredibly beautiful!
So, what do you think, pretty fancy huh?!

Your Turn:
Heart- Shaped, Pomegranate Ice Cubes
Looking for a fun, easy pick-me-up to liven up your water? How about these adorable pomegranate, heart-shaped ice cubes! These are so simple to make and the technique can be used for many occasions!
I found my silicon heart- shaped tray at the Target dollar corner, 2 for $1. And, I don’t think I had ever touched a pomegranate in my life, so I was looking forward to trying them… They’re such a beautiful fruit!
Cut open your pomegranate and take out all the seeds. Fill your trays with water, drop your pomegranate seeds into the water ( I filled them up!), and place in the freezer. Allow enough time for the water to freeze, and pop ice out of the trays and add to a cold glass of water or spritzer!
Voila, how adorable is that?!

Mustache- Themed Baby Shower
I had the pleasure of hosting (along with two other lovely ladies) a baby shower for a dear, long-time friend earlier this month! When it first came about, I knew I wanted to do a fun theme since I was in charge of the decor! The theme I chose was the ever-so-popular mustache theme! Seems to be all the craze right now, and I found lots of cute things to get me going…
I did the majority of my shopping at Hobby Lobby. They had so many mustache- things to choose from! Stickers, stamps, even fabric! The color scheme chosen was brown and lime green. With the colors decided, and the theme chosen, I created the invitations via Vistaprint. I chose Vistaprint because they make it SO easy to customize your invitations, love it!
I created a cute printable for the gift table and for the “thank you” table. I purchased these adorable chevron green cookie bags from Very Jane awhile back. A friend, Cakes by Bess created an adorable mustache shaped cookie for the “thank you” gift for guests coming!
I will feature a tutorial on how I made this adorable “Oh, Boy” banner next week!
