Oh, Fall! You encompass some of my very favorite things! The textures of Fall are just so warm and wonderful. I absolutely love creating Fall tablescapes. It gives me the chance to incorporate those favorite little things of mine into something beautiful! My favorite place to do that? My formal dining room, of course! It’s the perfect spot that I can still enjoy it every day passing by, but doesn’t get disturbed. Get cozy, grab a cup of hot coffee and hang out with me while I share my farmhouse chic fall tablescape with you all!
Our Fall Front Porch
Lola and Scarlet are here to welcome you to our Fall front porch!
Call me crazy, but I always decorate our front porch early, early! I even had a couple people walk by and tell me it was too early. To each their own! The moment I spotted pumpkins at the local farm market, I was dragging them home to dress up the porch! So you guessed it, I’m sharing our Fall front porch with you all today! [Read more…]

Fork flower pots: different seasons!
When it comes to shopping for items around the house, especially outdoors, I tend to keep an eye out for things that I can use and change for different seasons! I wanted to share a cute wall fork flower pot that I found over at Ragon House Market.
It’s a simple piece that can easily be used throughout all four seasons! Today I’m sharing with you how I dressed it up for Fall and Winter!
We’re all busy, some more than others, and it’s not always possible to spend a lot of time decorating the outside of your home. You will see in just a few simple steps how I create a darling, Fall display for our front door! Just buy adding some pieces of faux greenery to the little wall fork flower pots, it created an eye-catching display! Create an even more inviting feel by adding some additional seasonal items like pumpkins, fall leaves and a knit blanket!
Now, for Winter I decided to stick with the faux greenery, but this time I opted for dusty miller! I placed a few stems into the flower pots and that’s it! You can also get more creative by adding glittery picks and decorative bows! Add in a festive Christmas sign and either a real or faux tree and you’re all set! Maybe even a stack of wrapped Christmas presents would look cute too 😉
So, there you have it! I’ve shown you how to use one piece for two different seasons! It wouldn’t be hard to incorporate Spring and Summer with this piece either!
Do you have a specific display piece that you incorporate into each season? Share with me in the comments!
Thanks for stopping by today, see you next time 🙂
Friday Favorites #30
Hello gorgeous and happy Friday!! I am happy it’s the weekend, as I’m sure you are too! This weekend we are going to kick butt on the store! We’re going to get as much as we can done and crossed off the list! Earlier in the week, my handsome honey got most of the electrical complete. So, you can pretty much say, we’re moving right along!
Neutrals stole the show again this week! Let’s get inspired!
Fall favorites printable
When Fall comes to mind, we all have our essential, go-to favorites of the season! I wanted to create a simple little printable to share with you all, that have some of my favorites included. I can almost bet, they’re some of your favorites too! 😉
Simple, Early Fall Mantel
I’m not going to lie… I decorated this mantel mid August! Once the kids were back in school, I found myself with a little more down-time and decided it get a head start on my decorating! I have to say, I’m glad that I did. We are super busy preparing for barn shows we have coming up, AND if you didn’t see via Instagram or Facebook, our barn was delivered last week so we are busy working on that anytime we can! I will share more info about our storefront in another post soon!
I wanted to keep my early Fall mantel, simple at first! It’s always easy to go back and add little pumpkins, fresh greenery and such. As you know, I love using fresh greenery, but I found some beautiful, faux stems that don’t look “fake”. I don’t like the ones that you look at and automatically know they’re not real. So, I added those cute little stems to this mantel design.
And as always, my trusty go-to antique books never disappoint! They are the easiest way to add instant character to my designs. Throw in some candles and tea lights and you’re good to go!
This sweet mantel design will be getting a face-lift soon with some sweet baby boo pumpkins!
It was a pleasure to have you here today!
See you next time 🙂

Homemade Apple Butter
A tradition my little ones and I love each year is going apple picking! We head to the local apple orchard and pick our own apples right off the tree! Seeing the smiles on their little faces as they find the perfect apples, is priceless! Not to mention, I get to make some awfully tasty goodies with them! One specific request I had from my 11-year old son was to make apple butter!
If you follow me on Instagram, you may have saw my Instastories where I shared the process of making homemade apple butter. If not, you’re in luck because I wanted to share this simple, 2- ingredient recipe! Ya’ll, it’s only 2 ingredients! You can’t get any better than that!
