{ Although It’s Been Said… Free Printable! }

December 16, 2013 by Fotini Filed Under: Christmas, Christmas printable, Free Christmas Printable, free printable, Merry Christmas 9 Comments

Call me old fashioned, but I turn on Christmas music the first of November and I find myself humming it throughout the Holiday season! I love it, even though people may think I’m nuts, it makes me happy 🙂 I caught myself continuously singing one specific song tonight and decide to make a printable out of it!
What is your favorite Christmas song? Mine is probably Silent Night, I remember singing it to my Great, Great Aunt Alta when I was just a little girl every Christmas!
To download, simply right click the image and click “save as” to save to your desktop and print from there!
Thanks so much for stopping by and if I don’t get the chance to tell you, Merry Christmas!

{ Fab Pins of the Week }

December 13, 2013 by Fotini Filed Under: Christmas, Christmas decor, fab pins of the week, fresh greenery, greenery, natural Christmas

Happy, happy Friday!! I am THRILLED it’s the weekend! Tomorrow early morning, my hubby and I are headed to Chicago for the weekend! It’s our first time ever, and I am so stinkin’ excited 🙂
This week’s fab pins are inspired by my love of greenery during the Winter season â™¥  ♥

1. I love this simple, natural tablescape! Whites, fresh greenery and candle light, does it get much better? The only thing I might add would be a little sparkle, whether it be with mercury glass votives or glittery pinecones! I love the little deer figurines to add depth to the scene!
2. Incorporate natural elements into your gift wrapping! I love the idea of putting a piece of greenery with ribbon and kraft paper or even embellishing with a glittery pinecone! This is an idea that I might bring to life in our gift wrapping next year! We will just have to wait and see 😉
3. The decor for this front porch is so simple, but so gorgeous! Gorgeous swayed garland surrounding the door creates such an inviting entry! I love the live wreath with ribbon and jingle bells! Absolute classic beauty we have here!
4. I love the idea of “framing” a specific picture or piece of  art with live greenery! Add simple embellishments for more flare, by adding dangling ornaments or little bows. This is such a simple, yet outstanding idea!

{ Christmas Home Tour 2013 }

December 12, 2013 by Fotini Filed Under: burlap, Christmas, Christmas home tour, diy, home tour, neutral Christmas decor 6 Comments

I love, and look forward to decorating my home each year for Christmas! Typically I decorate with the traditional red and white, but this year I wanted to go more natural and stick with neutral tones and natural elements. I started shopping the after Christmas sales last year and snagged some amazing deals on new ornaments and swag for my tree!

I just love my tree and mantle this year! The neutral tones just look amazing together! Of course I have lots of burlap involved! I just used a couple yards of burlap as my tree skirt, nothing special, but I love how it looks! I made our stockings, which I will be sharing here soon and I love them too!! I used kraft paper again this year to wrap my packages and paired them with a beautiful platinum ribbon and chalkboard tags, as well as some amazing glitter tape I bought from Target Dollar Spot, I’m obsessed with it!!! I also got some beautiful, glitter embellished wrapping paper on sale last year that fits perfectly with my design!

Please follow along with me as I give you a tour of my home 🙂  I hope you enjoy!

{ Wishing you a very Merry Christmas }

December 25, 2012 by Fotini Filed Under: Christ our Savior, Christmas, Jesus Christ, Merry Christmas 4 Comments

For those of you who are reading this, I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas! I hope you’re all able to enjoy the day with family, embracing the love around you and realizing that you are truly blessed. Although gifts are wonderful to give and fun to get, remember the real reason for our celebration, the birth of Jesus Christ! This is such an important purpose to share with our children. God bless each and every one of you!

Beautiful, Simple Gift Wrapping

December 18, 2012 by Fotini Filed Under: Christmas, Christmas wrapping, craft paper, diy, gift wrapping, wrapping paper, wrapping presents

I love wrapping presents for Christmas! This year I opted for brown craft paper. I lucked out last year and found a large roll at the dollar store, steal!! After Christmas sales are the best, and last year at Target I found some really cute felt Christmas tree ornaments 70% off per 4-pack. So this year I used them with some of the left-over yarn I had from the letters for my mantle!

This wrapping style is simple, yet beautiful! Your possibilities are truly endless with craft paper.. You can easily personalize it for each person, add your favorite touches {bows, dollies, ribbon, stamps}, have the kids draw pictures for family, and so much more! I had fun using the yarn because it was simple to just cut a long length off and just wrap it around the present and tie!

In the pictures below, you can see how the felt ornament had the gold tie, I just cut it off and thread the yarn through to dress the packages up!
