Fab Pins of the Week!

January 30, 2015 by Fotini Filed Under: chic, design, fab pins of the week, glamorous, home decor, Pinterest, white design 4 Comments

Hello gorgeous and happy Friday!! I’m thrilled to have you here! I’m excited it’s the weekend, and I hope to cross some projects going on around the house off! Do you have anything fun planned? I’m still taking it slow on finishing my home office. I still have some unwanted furniture up there that I’m trying to sell, so it’s interfering with me fully decorating and laying everything out. So until then, I’m enjoying my space and finally having a desk to sit at and places for pretty much all of my things!

Are you ready to see what’s inspired me this week? Let’s get to it…

Valentine’s Day Must-Haves!

January 26, 2015 by Fotini Filed Under: gift ideas, gifts for her, inspiration, Kate Spade, Valentines day 15 Comments

Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching! It’s never too early to get some fabulous gift ideas for the ones you love… Especially to any of you men that may be reading this (wink!). Giving a gift for Valentine’s doesn’t have to be costly, big or over-the-top.. but if you decide to go that route, some of these gifts will be perfect for you to give! I have also included some adorable, more affordable options as well!
 //  //
// Bangles // Pencils
I first became obsessed familiar with Kate Spade nearly 18 years ago and I have continued to absolutely love it ever since! You can never go wrong with this classic, timeless collection! Whether you’re opting for a handbag, watch or perfume you’re sure to win her over! These are three things I have and use everyday! And if you give a little more conservatively, there is not a thing wrong with that by the way, I have chosen some things to let her know you care! A girl can never have too many lip glosses and this beautiful MAC shade transitions beautifully from Winter into Spring! I’m loving the bangles phase right now! Stacking and mix-matching special pieces make it fun! And then I just had to share these pencils, aren’t they great?

I know whatever gift you choose for the one you love, will be special because it’s coming from you!

Have a lovely Valentine’s Day!

Mad About You Valentine Printable + More!

January 21, 2015 by Fotini Filed Under: DIY Valentine's gifts, diy valentines, gift idea, printable, Valentines day, watercolor Leave a Comment

I’m excited to be teaming up with some other fabulous ladies to bring you a bunch of DIY Valentine’s Day ideas! When you’re giving a gift, it doesn’t have to be expensive or fancy! I enjoy heartfelt gifts just as much as I do materialistic gifts, because I know they came from the heart ♥

Today I’m sharing a super simple, but absolutely adorable Valentine’s gift! I was thrilled to have scored these “mad about you” lotions from Bath & Body works at their semi-annual sale for less than $3 per bottle! Right away I thought they would make the perfect little Valentine’s gift, so I snagged a few! Shortly after, I was playing around with my watercolor and created a sweet printable that goes along perfectly with the lotion! And today I’m sharing that printable with you! You can download it and add it to any of your Valentine’s gifts! I added mine to the lotion using bakers twine, and voila, a super adorable and sweet gift! Perfect for your close girlfriends, teachers, family members, close neighbors and more!

French Chic Mantle Design ♥

January 19, 2015 by Fotini Filed Under: design, feminine decor, home, home decor, pink, Valentine's decor, Valentine's mantle

Come Valentine’s Day I’m usually ready to decorate with pops red, but this year I wanted to opt for a more feminine, pink design! I’ve been having fun decorating with pink lately, it makes me feel extra girly! And my husband doesn’t mind it, in moderation!
While at my local grocery, I spotted these dainty pink carnations on clearance! I snagged two bunches for $1.99 each! I added them to my favorite ceramic pitcher; instant charm! I enjoy carnations just as much as a super expensive bloom. Although the head is smaller in size, they have many, beautiful layers that make them easy to love! I snipped the smaller ones and put them into a mercury glass votive. This mantle is simple, but beautiful. Sometimes I try to enjoy the simple things a little more!
Thank you for stopping by today, it was a real pleasure to have you!

A few of my Winter must-haves!

January 12, 2015 by Fotini Filed Under: beauty must-haves, beauty products, Winter essentials, Winter must-haves 5 Comments

Winter is such an important time of the year to stay moisturized! I get super dry during the cold months. Relying on great products to help repair and maintain my body is essential. Today I’m sharing some of my favorite products with you that are essential to my daily routine!
I cannot stand for my lips to be dry! While at Target recently, I scored a multi-pack of Vaseline minis perfect to throw into your purse for on-the-go moistrizing. My favorite of the set was Vaseline Rosy Lips, it’s a slight pink tint and perfect for the harsh Winter chill. I never used to moisturize my face, but as I’m getting older my skin is changing and I now find it necessary! Any good moisturizer with natural products is okay in my book! My hands specifically get extra dry during this season, so a good hand cream is critical! Aveda Hand Relief cream is amazing for dry hands, amazing! My all time favorite perfume is Clinique Happy! As many perfumes as I’ve tried throughout the years, this is my favorite! Pretty nails are always a must-have! I refuse to wear fake nails ever again, and I can’t stand how regular nail polish chips. Sally Hansen Miracle Gel is the perfect solution! Keep your painted nails nearly perfect for about 2 weeks per application!
So I want to know… What are your Winter must-haves?

Christmas in the Formal

December 18, 2014 by Fotini Filed Under: Christmas, Christmas tablescape, formal dining room, neutral Christmas decor, tablescape

This Season I have been decorating with neutrals, natural elements and pops of red! We finally finished painting our formal dining room furniture and I just love how it looks! I will share the full reveal in another post 😉 One day while I was out and about shopping at a local hardware store, I spotted some beautiful cedar garland and snagged a 12 foot bunch!
Christmas Formal Dining Room Tour
The smell of the fresh cedar is just sensational! The perfect addition to any Holiday decor! I simply swagged it over my formal table and cut it to my desired length. I rearranged some of my mercury glass pieces, vases and votives, as well as, a few sporadic glittery mini bulbs into the design. I love using candles in my center pieces because it gives it such a romantic, intimate feel!

I added an additional swag of cedar on my buffet, as well as, a fresh boxwood wreath! The beautiful shades of green mix perfectly with the neutral tones and pops of red!
