Master bedroom Refresh

July 28, 2020 by Fotini Filed Under: 14 meals, 16, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 25 Days of Christmas, 27 West & Co., 4th of July, home decor

Inspiration comes in many different ways, shapes & sizes. I find myself getting inspired by specific objects alone! My girlfriends & I were actually just talking about that this past weekend. Are you one that tends to get inspired by one specific thing, such as a pillow, piece of furniture, rug, etc. Or does finding inspiration come in other ways for you?

Lately, I have been wanting to give my master bedroom a little refresh! I don’t have a big budget to spend on this project, so I wanted to keep it simple & affordable, using most of my existing large items. It’s amazing how much you can change up the look of a room by adding new bedding, rugs & accessories!

I have created this little mood board, because lets be honest, I’m LOVING those right now! It’s the best way for me to take my vision & bring it to life! Best part about it, is these items are AFFORDABLE!

I know what most are you are probably thinking… white bedding? Let me just say I have had white bedding in the past & absolutely love it! It just portrays serenity & cleanliness! Secret to keeping it clean? See below!

OxiClean white revive & stain remover will work miracles on your new & old, dingy whites! So fear no more, having white sheets, duvets, blankets, pillows, any of it!

If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen the post where I shared my new olive tree! I am sharing the link to it above! I plan to do a product review & showcase it there as well, so consider this a little sneak peek of this product 😉

As part of my master bedroom refresh, I also plan to paint. I haven’t completely came to a decision on paint colors yet, so your input is well appreciated!

Stay tuned for the makeover coming in the next few weeks!

Progress in the master

I may be the worlds slowest decorator… We have lived in our home for three years now and we are just getting around to finishing our master bedroom. Some of you may find it ridiculous, and just hearing it makes me slightly embarrassed! But, in the same breath, my styles change and I find myself really falling in love with what we’re currently doing so I think the wait will be worth it!
