I’ve been so busy the last couple of weeks, I haven’t done this for about two weeks now. I need to get back to the point where I’m prepping my blog posts ahead of time. Hey friend! How are you today? I’m doing great since it’s Friday 🙂 I always look forward to the weekend! And this weekend is a special weekend for our family, it’s Easter! I love celebrating Easter! We have family coming in from Maryland to spend the holiday with us, and they will be taking my grandparents (from Greece) with them for a week before they head back to Greece. We’ve had a wonderful, memory- filled visit with them these last 7 weeks! My goal for the next year, is to save enough money to take the kids to Greece for a couple weeks! I’ve only been once when I was 12. I’m dying to go back!
Spring rolls around and I’m changing the wreath on my front door to pretty much go with my moods… Ok, you’re right, not that much 😉 But I am changing them a good bit! For well over a year now, I’ve had a Southern Living magazine clipping hanging on my fridge. Yes, I’m one of those that still clip my favorite ideas and inspiration out of a magazine and hold onto it until I’m ready to conquer the project. I’ve been doing that way before the days of Pinterest!

I’m going to have a very small budget for updating our kitchen lighting. The reason being, is we plan to move in the next 2 years (hopefully to a farmhouse!), and I don’t want to deplete my budget on lighting. I want to keep it simple but in sync with the farmhouse style! Today I’m sharing with you 10 farmhouse kitchen lantern options that I’m picturing for my kitchen renovation! #farmhousechicblogreno.

The above options are affordable and right up the alley of what I have in mind! I love the look of the oil rubbed bronze or black lantern lighting hanging above the kitchen island. I currently have 3 mercury glass pendant lights, but they do not produce enough light. The plan is to find two smaller, 10 inch size, lanterns to hang in its place.
I’m always on the search for items that fit my style and budget! If you’re in search for something similar, I hope that this will take some of the hard work out for you! It can be a real pain sometimes, searching through all the options out there!
