Charming Easter Mantel

March 16, 2015 by Fotini Filed Under: home decor, Spring 15 Comments

Why hello there! Am I the only one or does it totally feel like this month is flying by? Gee whiz, Easter is right around the corner! I love working on projects for Easter time, it’s so much fun! Making adorable banners might be my favorite part though 😉

If you’re following me on Instagram, you might remember me sharing the little bunny banner I’m sharing with you today for my Easter mantel! It was a simple banner to make, but I just love the character and simplicity! It’s been a real treat for me to step out of my norm and decorate with pink! My bunny banner showcases light pink bunnies with cotton tails! How sweet is it? Eek!

For right now, I’ve opted for a faux peony bouquet. As much as I truly love fresh flowers, these are so much easier to maintain. For such simple pieces, I feel like everything ties together for a nice presentation. If you have followed along with me for any amount of time you will notice I don’t tend to drastically change my designs. I mostly swap out key pieces. The thoughts of changing it entirely makes me nervous. I know, I’m weird!

It was a great pleasure to have you here today! Be sure to stop by again soon!

Beautifull! Love the peonies and that banner! Funny, I just bought little pom poms this morning to use as tails on my bunner banner. Ha! They’re just so cute!

Thanks so much Ashley! You know, there’s great alternatives to mantles! Shelving or faux mantels can be just as pretty!!
