Hey friend! How are you today? I hope this week finds you well! Halloween is quickly approaching, so we decorated our small front porch for creepy giggles! The kids are just eating this creepy stuff right up… It must be a kid thing 😉 But I must admit, it’s been fun!
As always, Lola has to be right in the middle of all the action! We just picked her up from the groomers here and she fits right in with your festive pumpkin scarf! Would you believe me if I told you we decorated with all the spooky stuff for only $5? That’s right, $5!! Shopping at Target dollar spot and the Dollar store will save you big!
We bought the fake spider webs and spiders from Target dollar spot, for you guessed it, $1! I had never used this stuff before, and I thought it was unnecessarily messy, but I may be over-reacting! We also purchased our “Caution/Danger” tape from Target, again for $1. We snagged our skull head, black crow and black rat from the Dollar store, for $1 each.
We used our existing items and just began covering them with the fake spider webs. It was looking –eerie already! I simply flipped over my welcome sign and stretched web down the entire piece, making it appear very old like it had been sitting for years. I added a couple small pieces of caution tape above our door and also included our spooky bat banner from last year! It appears that the bats are flying 😉 I arranged my mini white pumpkins in my olive bucket and added more web, spiders and a skull head until weirdly placed. We added a black rat near the pumpkins and a glittery black crow to the corn stalks. And just like that, our front porch went from perfectly Fall to creepy for Halloween!
Be sure to head over to Fantabulosity next Monday (Oct. 19th), I will be sharing my classic silhouette book page wreath, shown above!
Thanks a bunch for stopping by!

I don’t think the title of your article matches the content lol. Just kidding, mainly because I had some doubts after reading the article.
