Hello beautiful, and welcome to our All Things Thursday blog hop #17!! Thank you for supporting our blog hop, it really wouldn’t be this fun without you! Please be sure to check out the features from last week’s party
I’m kind of having a hard time believing Halloween is tomorrow! Where is time going, geesh! I hope you have a great time taking your little ones trick-or-treating!!

Kids Halloween Party, The Games!
This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Groupâ„¢ and Cottonelle, but all opinions are my own. http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO.
Trick-or-treat comes and goes so quickly, it seems like the little ones don’t actually get to enjoy it much! This year I had the idea of hosting a kids costume party for my little ones, friends and family to enjoy! With that in mind I headed to none other than, Target to get some goodies! While I was there I picked up the new Cottonelle Triple Roll toilet paper to use for decor and for games. Be sure to grab yours too, and take advantage of the promotional offer “Buy Cottonelle Triple Rock 12 pack or larger and receive a FREE box of Kleenex”, while supplies last! Coupon here!
And that brings me today’s post, the games! Of course, this is the best part of the party for the kids!! We had a variety of ages, from 1-12, so I wanted the games to be functional and fun for everyone! The games were played inside the house since it’s like Winter outside (ah!), luckily I planned for that!
First we played pumpkin bowling! I stacked six rolls of the Cottonelle Triple Roll up pyramid style. I glued cute little googly eyes on them so they appeared as “ghosts”! We noticed unlike the picture below, separating the rolls so there is more of a gap in between them is easier for the kids to knock down. I used a mini pumpkin and removed the stem.
Next we played Halloween bingo and did the piñata! Oh, how fun that was!
Next up was the Mummy wrap! It was so much fun to watch the little ones work together in creating their own Mummy in 60 seconds! For this game we used two rolls per team. This was by far their favorite game of the night! After each team finished their Mummy, we saw who could get out of it the quickest! Then it seems we had a slight toilet paper fight, so fun! I will share all the printables I created for each game in another post next week, so check back!
The last game we played was pin the tail on the black cat! I used a black poster board, drew and cut out the shape of the cat. I glued on googly eyes and used different lengths of fish line for the whiskers! I wrapped the cat up like a Mummy too, and it was just adorable!
I also used a few pieces of toilet paper to embellish the sides of my picture frames to “Mummy-fy” them a bit! Who knew with a little bit of creativity and a pack of toilet paper, you could create fun for an entire party?

My New Kitchen Light
I have a slight obsession with mercury glass and I knew I wanted to incorporate it into my new kitchen island lighting. I started browsing online, only to find super expensive options.
Similar here here ($99 each) and here (over $218 each)!! I was determined to make this work, so I headed to none other than, Homegoods! I was ecstatic when I found these pretty mercury glass candle holders and snatched up three of them. The plan was for my hubby to use a glass cutter to create a hole for it to fit on the new lighting. Well, you won’t believe what happend next… We started unscrewing the bottom of the candle holder to find a hole already there, and it fit the light fixture like a glove! Score!! Like major score. I may, or may not, have been doing the happy dance in my kitchen! Within minutes I had a gorgeous new mercury glass light fixture!!
The best part about it was the cost! Each candle holder was $9.99 and the trio mount was on sale at Lowes for about $47, which brings the total cost to $76.97!
I think it’s the perfect addition to our kitchen space and I couldn’t be more happy with how it turned out!

1. Aren’t these Monster Apple Bites from We Do Fun Here absolutely adorable? I’m totally making these for our Halloween party, the kids will love them! Not to mention, they’re made with healthy ingredients! Head over and check out the full recipe 🙂
2. Halloween party perfection, wow! I love every detail is beautifully placed! Of course I love the burlap tablecloth!
3. These adorable treat bags are the perfect touch for your little ones to keep their treats in! And they are just so stinkin’ cute! I love using paper bags from the dollar store, the possibilities are truly endless and you can’t get anything more budget friendly!
4. Holy moly these are cute! I’m not the best at baking, so more than likely mine would not turn out looking like this, but I might just have to give it a try! I love the bright green color from the non-traditional black and orange Halloween decor!
