This week’s must haves!

August 14, 2020 by Fotini Filed Under: 14 meals, 16, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 25 Days of Christmas, 27 West & Co., 4th of July, lifestyle

One thing that hasn’t subsided during this quarantine is my love for shopping 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have been blessed to be staying busy & still manage the time to snag me a few new goodies here & there! Today I’m sharing this week’s must haves with you!

My Amazon shopping cart is somewhat like my brain, slightly scattered! I never know what my little heart is going to desire. But this week I actually snagged some beneficial things that will come in handy!

So, without further ado, let me get to sharing each piece!

No one likes a messy purse. I guess I can’t speak for others, so let me just say, I don’t like a messy purse. It gives me anxiety & I can’t stand not knowing where specific items are at. My current bag is huge & it’s not hard for things to get lost in there. My solution was snagging a felt fabric insert to organize each & every little thing! GAME CHANGER!

I have been following so many bloggers that have purchased the Mosanana square cat eye glasses, so I ordered them too! I have an obsession with sunglasses, you can never have too many! However, I was NOT crazy about these when I got them. I have a fuller, round- shaped face & they just didn’t look right on me. Needless to say, they will be going back.

I drink water on a daily basis, usually out of a large tumbler & maybe fill it twice. I never really kept track of how much water I was actually drinking in a day. So, I bought this motivational water bottle to help me keep track. I was pleased to know, I was pretty much drinking the same amount already, but this helps me stay on track! Be prepared to be using the bathroom, a lot!

Here I’m wearing this light leopard print kimono & my distressed denim shorts & I love this combo! It’s the perfect outfit for feeling cute & comfy! I also ordered the same kimono for my Mom. She lives in Florida & it’s the perfect beach/pool coverup!

And, you know I’m a sucker for animal prints, so I went ahead & ordered the snakeskin booties that I had my eye on last year! Stay tuned I will be doing some outfit shares with those! Just know, they’re adorable & I love them! Especially for the price!!

As always, you can never go wrong with smelling good! It’s the necessity to any & every outfit no matter what! I love sticking with my favorite scents! I have worn Clinique Happy for almost 20 years & still love it just as much!

Last week I stopped by Ulta to snag a new perfume, but because of Covid you cannot smell anything. Boooo. So, I ordered Coco Chanel Mademoiselle & we will see how I like it! Have you tried it before? What did you think of it? I typically opt for light , sweet scents.

Well friends, that’s a wrap! That’s this weeks version of my must haves! I’m already working on next week’s. Don’t judge ☺️

Cozy Slippers – Must haves!

April 28, 2020 by Fotini Filed Under: 14 meals, 16, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 25 Days of Christmas, 27 West & Co., 4th of July, fashion, lifestyle

One thing this quarantine has solidified for me… comfort is a MUST. Everyday & always! It’s no secret that I am obsessed with cozy slippers… If you visit me at my home, you guessed it, I’m wearing my comfy slippers! Today I’m sharing all my very favorite cozy slippers – you will want every pair!!

Comfort doesn’t have to come with a hefty price tag. I have collected an affordable variety that I either own myself, or have on my wish list. ☺️

So, I’m curious.. what are some of your quarantine must- haves? Besides slippers, mine are (in no particular order) stretchy pants, scrunchies, my robe, over-sized glasses, tie-dye anything, super soft blankets, crosswords, word searches, my iPad, Pinterest… I could keep going!

Despite the latter, I have been enjoying this time at home. The kiddos & I have established our daily school routine, daily cleaning routine & been crossing projects off the to-do list like a boss.

Stay tuned for more of my quarantined must-haves! I’ll be sharing again soon!

Finding Inspiration…

January 23, 2020 by Fotini Filed Under: 14 meals, 16, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 25 Days of Christmas, 27 West & Co., 4th of July, Uncategorized

I truly believe we all go through seasons…. seasons of becoming, seasons of growth, seasons of drought and seasons of uncertainty. Like most of us, the typical cliche outlook for a new year, is to be better than we were before… try new things, get rid of things from our lives that don’t complete us or make us better, be more present, have a lasting effect in this world. Am I right? It seems like in no time at all, we lose sight of those “resolutions”.

I will be the first to admit that resolutions or self- pressure can be a little overwhelming. Instead of looking at it as something that “has to be done”, look at it more as a mind-set change. Wake up daily and look at the positive. A beautiful, new morning! All the blessings you have. What you’re thankful for. And thank God for those things out loud while you’re getting ready for the day or taking a shower. Verbalize your gratefulness.

It’s amazing what those little changes can do to our mindset for the day! Start by making gradual changes each day, each week or even each month. This is YOUR life, you are in control and there is no rush. Breathe. Girl, you got this! You are SO worth this change you’ve been longing for!!

With that being said, that brings me to the topic of finding inspiration. It’s hard to find inspiration when you are in a place of uncertainty. And when I say uncertainty, I mean finding your place in this big world. As a home decor blogger, I have changed so many things around my house time and time again. I have done many DIY projects. I have shared my favorite recipes. You name it, I’ve done it! There are so many amazing people out there that do the same things I do and sometimes I feel less than. I know it’s silly, but it’s a feeling I know a lot of us get in one way or another.

I have struggled with finding inspiration after the holidays this year. And that brings me to the question… What do you want to see from me this year in 2020? What type of content would you like me to share on the blog?

More home projects? More DIY? More home decor finds & antiques?

I want to hear from you! Having a little direction will give me inspiration!
