Remember last week when I said I was going to share some exciting BIG news with you all? Well, today is that day!! If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you may already know. So, without further ado…. Farmhouse Chic is opening a STOREFRONT!!!! Eek 🙂 I hope that you can feel my excitement through this post! It’s absolutely through the roof!
I have wanted to open a store for many years! As my style has grown into farmhouse chic, a subtle mix of farmhouse and shabby chic, and since I’ve created this little blog; my goal was to always have a brand, something to show my passion and hard work! Now, it’s finally happening! I certainly couldn’t do it without the hard work of my awesome BF, Kenny, and the constant support from our family and friends!
I don’t really have anything to show you at this point, but I will explain what we are doing! We have ordered a custom 14×30 amish built barn, that’s 420 square feet of store space! We are going to insulate and shiplap the walls, add electrical and lighting, stain and seal the wide-planked wood floors and DECORATE!!! One of this girls favorite things to do!
Our store will be delivered in approximately 4-5 weeks, so in the meantime, we will be building a custom sliding barn door to use as the main entrance of the store! We will also be building a hand-crafted, unique piece for as the checkout stand! I cannot wait to share the progress and nitty gritty details with you through our journey!
Now, some more exciting news! As a store owner, I will not be able to hand-make everything in the store since my time will be dedicated to running the storefront. I came across an awesome company called Ragon House, which fits my style just perfectly! I am so excited to have some of their exclusive pieces featured in our storefront! You all will absolutely LOVE these hand-picked items too! All items will be available for shipping from our storefront, Farmhouse Chic! I will continue to share more details on that, also, as they arise!
