One of my absolute favorite rooms to decorate in my house is my formal dining room! It’s a room that you can see at all times from either the kitchen or living room and I love to somewhat over do the decor! It’s a fun room to play around with because we don’t really use it that often. Today I have the pleasure of sharing with you a lovely formal decorated with Valentine’s Day in mind <3
Quite honestly, I didn’t do anything over-the-top for this design, but I had fun playing with a little more feminine elements! As if you didn’t already know, I am CRAZY about white! White, white everything! Can you ever go wrong? I just love the softness that adding the soft pink faux flowers adds with the neutral tones and mercury glass!
It just wouldn’t be the same without sliding in a few vintage books into the mix! It’s one of my favorite ways to add instant character to any space! And as always, you can never go wrong with candlelight! It’s such a simple way to create a romantic ambiance.
