Today, I’m sharing with you my simple, neutral Fall mantel! As you know, I am crazy about Fall!! It’s my favorite season and I adore decorating for it!
I had a hard time deciding whether I was going to go neutral again like I did last Fall, or use color this year. Clearly I decided to opt for the neutral! Shocker (haha!). The desire to use a little color has consumed me at times, so that may be something I transition to later in the season! As of now, I couldn’t be happier with the simplicity of my Fall mantel! It’s seriously so simple, and took me just minutes to create!
You’ve heard me say in the past how much I love using dried eucalyptus! These stems are some that I already had from previous arrangements! I innocently added them to the sides and worked around them! For design purposes, I always mirror my sides as much as possible. Next, I added my beloved mercury glass votives and candlesticks, books and baskets for texture! Oh, and white pumpkins!! You can never have enough white pumpkins <3
It’s effortlessly beautiful, warm and inviting! I literally smile every time I walk in the room! I will be adding little mementos here and there and sharing with you via social media, I hope that you are following along!
One of my favorite things about this mantel design, is that I am using pieces that I use and love year around! The other day, I went into the basement to grab totes full of my Fall decor, and decided to use very few items from them. Not because I don’t love them anymore, but my style has changed! And, I’m ok with that! I will be adding those items to my local community site to sell! Someone else will get to love them and bring them to life again!
