The last couple of weeks have been quiet around here and I’m sorry for that! I have had somewhat of a difficult time making blogging a priority right now with everything going on. It crosses my mind almost daily, however, I’m just not 100% there to hop right back into full blown projects yet. I hope that you understand and will continue to stick around, because let’s be real… I LOVE having you here!
As you may know, I have a soft spot for farmhouse signs! Today I am sharing one I made for my daughters room, and it couldn’t be any more fitting for what’s going on right now!
I adore creating signs with beautiful quotes or bible verses, because it just makes those pieces that much more special! I created this sign months before I had any clue that my world was going to take a drastic change. If you didn’t get the chance to read my post ‘Your love is all I need..‘ take a moment to, and update yourself on my current situation. It’s truly amazing to see how God works! Just the simple fact that I made this sign for my sweet little girls room, and am now falling on the exact words for encouragement, is fascinating! I have been relying on my faith to get me through each day, and it has! My faith in the Lord continues to strengthen me and allow me to look forward to the plan he has for my children and I!
Sometimes we all need a reminder, and I love this bible verse from Psalms. “God is within her she will not fall”. How true and precious is this statement!!
The sign isn’t perfect.. Some of my letters are uneven, crooked, thinner and fatter than others, but I’m perfectly ok with that. One thing I have learned is, life isn’t perfect! Life isn’t perfect, but don’t give up! Take the good with the bad and make the best of any situation you are put in.
It was a true pleasure to have you here today and it feels great to write my first post in a couple of weeks!
Sharing this project on these blogs!
What a beautiful sign you created! I’m sorry to read about what your family is going through, but your reliance on God is well placed; He certainly is faithful.
Thank you for your support Courtney <3
Thank you for your sharing. I am worried that I lack creative ideas. It is your article that makes me full of hope. Thank you. But, I have a question, can you help me?
