Hey you! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Can you believe that school starts in the next few weeks? Good gracious, where has Summer gone? I hope you all have had a wonderful, memorable Summer! It has a been a busy Summer for us around here, but it’s been great!
I’m glad to have you here today! Do you do a little gift for your kids teachers on the first day? If so, I’m sharing a printable I’ve made for you to add to any gift you create and also, the teacher gifts the kids and I put together!
I’m going to point out right off the bat that there is a typo in my original print (like the one that’s on the teachers gifts!). Grief, I guess we all have those moments, right? Luckily, I spotted it before I shared it with you all, so I corrected it on the printable above! Alright, now that the cat’s out of the bag, lets get to it!!
Thank goodness for Target Dollar Spot, can I get an alleluia? That place is a gold mine! I found (most) of the goodies right there, for $1! Since the printable emphasizes the word “bright” I wanted to add a variety of highlighters to the gift too! And, I also snagged a $5 gift card to Starbucks.
I’m not a teacher (obvi!) and I don’t have teacher friends, but I was trying to come up with a cute gift that they could actually put to use! While on a separate trip to Michaels I found adorable ceramic mugs with numbers as the handle. I chose a number 4 for my sons teacher since he will be going into the 4th grade! The mugs were a little over $2 with coupon.
Well, I hope that gives you a little boost to get inspired for teachers gifts! I would love for you to share your projects with me if you feel up to it!
Sharing on these blogs!

Oh that’s adorable! I would never have thought to use the numbered mug for the grade they teach. Adding this to my list of back to school ideas on Pinterest. 🙂
I’m co-hosting the #HomeMattersParty link party this month and would love to have you stop by for a visit. The door opens at midnight tonight! http://www.alaynascreations.co
