Hi there and welcome! I’m so happy you are here today! It’s an exciting day around here.. I will be sharing with you my farmhouse chic Christmas home tour 2016! Can you believe it? I just can’t seem to wrap my head around the fact that it’s Christmas time! But, I am so, so excited that it is! It is truly one of the most magical times of the year!
So, prop your feet up, grab a cup of hot cocoa and come tour my home with me 🙂
We will start off stepping into my entry way. I am still loving my Windsor bench! One of my very favorite projects I’ve accomplished thus far! It’s adorning greenery, old spindles, mercury glass ornaments and more!
Next, we will walk into my living room. As I shared last week, my tree was a woodland inspired design this year! I just adore the neutral tones (shocker!, haha), glitter and simplicity! One thing that goes hand-in-hand with me and Christmas is glitter! I use it in every one of my Christmas tree designs! I cannot get enough of it <3
Hunter greens, champagne, rose gold and silvers are the center of the details throughout my decor. I will share more details on my gift wrapping next week, but I am super obsessed with the rose gold glitter wrapping paper I bought from Target, oh my goodness! I’m a firm believer that a beautiful tree needs beautiful gift wrapping too!
Dried eucalyptus swags the sides of my mantel filled with glowing mercury glass bulbs. And of course, my mercury glass votives light up the space!
To finish up the tour, we will end in my formal dining room! This room is constantly full of light, so it’s been a challenge getting good pictures of it. I came home the other evening and my kids an boyfriend surprised me with early birthday presents! These beautiful Nutcrackers were part of the gifts! It just melted my heart 🙂
