Hello there friend ๐ I hope this day finds you well! I am super excited to finally share my porch with you all today! If you follow me on Facebook, you probably saw my little video I shared with you all and I told you I would share how to easily update your porch for Fall! So, today’s that day!
As you have heard me mention in some of my recent posts, I have had an excessive mild obsession with white and blue pumpkins (again) this year. That has been the basis of my design this Fall, so it’s no surprise that I would have them outside, also!
ย As I also mentioned in my video, my front porch is very small! I don’t have much to work with, but tried to make the most of every bit of space I could. I very easily, and quickly made this little “hello fall” garden flag. Seriously took me less than 10 minutes! Would you be interested in a tutorial for it? Comment below and let me know, I would be happy to share, if so!
I also recently made the large WELCOME sign for the Zassy’s Fall Barn show in a couple weeks. I thought it would be perfect right in that spot, and I was right. I’m not sure I want to get rid of it now ๐ You may, or may not, find it for purchase at the sale!
Coming up with a theme isn’t difficult. What are you favorite colors to use for Fall? Burnt oranges, mustard yellows, burgundies, whites, greens? There are so many possibilities! Step out of your comfort zone a bit, but stick with a color scheme and I think you will be pleasantly surprised!
So, here’s a break down of what I purchased….
Locally grown hardy mums $11.99 each (2)
Cabbage $7.99
Medium white pumpkins $4 each (2)
Mini white pumpkins $.75 each (7)
Medium blue pumpkin $6
Small blue pumpkin $3
That brings my grand total a few dollars over $50! I am happy with that number because they’re some of my favorite things about Fall!
It’s nothing over the top, just staging some of my favorite things to look good together, along with some existing pieces I already have! I love adding the mini white pumpkins to my olive bucket! I would need a lot of mini pumpkins to honestly fill the entire bucket, so I put a glass vase in upside down and used some plastic grocery bags as fillers around it and wrapped it in burlap. This was perfect for my 7 little pumpkins to rest on! You can see the “before” pic below.
So what do you think? A nice combination for Fall if I do say so myself ๐ It makes me smile every timeย I walk by it! So tell me, what are you favorite ways to decorate your porch for Fall?

I just love the blue and white pumpkins too… We grew our own this year. I don’t remember seeing blue pumpkins when I was younger, but now I totally love them!

I don’t remember seeing them when I was little either, now that you mention it! Nonetheless, I’m glad they’re around now ๐ That’s so awesome you grew your own! We planted white pumpkin seeds, but I think we did it too late in the season ๐ Next year!
