It’s hard to believe that Summer break is almost over, and this time next month the kids will be back in school. With that in mind, I wanted to plan a fun afternoon as a family! When my husband was younger, and even when we first started dating over a decade ago, we enjoyed time at a local “mountain” called Rising Park! It’s a fun little hike up the mountain and lots to see along the way. Once at the top, it over looks the heart of Lancaster.

After the hike was over, I planned a delicious picnic for us at the park below. The kids were really anxious to quench their thirst and fill their bellies!
