Spring is one of my very favorite seasons. I absolutely adore planting a garden, working in my yard and tending to my flowers! So let me ask you… What is one of the easiest ways to add instant charm to your outdoor space? Flowers! Today I’m sharing how to beautify your Space with Monrovia Plants!
Planting flowers can be intimidating to many, but I’m here to tell you, it truly doesn’t have to be!
My little sweet pea and I headed to our local Lowe’s garden center and started picking out our favorite Monrovia plants right away! We opted for super trouper magenta+white and orange dianthus, peach flambe coral bells and alpino neon rose saxifrage.
A little tip of advice when it comes to picking your flowers, is to know where you’re planting them. In our case, we wanted them to be potted on our deck. Take the extra minute to read the info cards included in each plant, they give all the important details! 😉 Once home, we headed to our little garden shed and grabbed our needed supplies: pots, little shovel and potting soil! Now let’s get to planting!!
Tips for successful flowers:
1. make sure the pot has the proper drainage 2. use a good potting soil that has the nutrients already added 3. don’t over fill your potting space with numerous plants 4. water daily, don’t drowned with water 5. place plants to receive an adequate amount of sunlight daily 6. dead head any dead or dying blooms.
The above tips will keep you enjoying your beautiful blooms all summer long! I was so pleased with the pop of color this variety added to our deck! I cannot wait to get things decorated to enjoy this Spring, Summer and Fall! Stay tuned for more updates!
